AutoShapes and Animations in PowerPoint 2000
This tutorial teaches how to create AutoShapes and Animations in PowerPoint 2000. It includes multiple narrated screen movies demonstrating step-by-step techniques.

Animated
GIFs for Simple Procedures

I've learned to produce animated GIFs such as these to serve as tutorials for relative simple procedures that nevertheless require multiple steps. In some cases, however, I use the more traditional combination of multiple static screen shots with accompanying text. An example is my "Using IRC instead of a JAVA applet to connect to WebBoard chats".

Video Tutorials
I've also learned to quickly create and embed narrated videos in QuickTime, RealVideo and Windows Media Video formats. I've also used RealPresenter and RealSlideshow for converting PowerPoint presentations to interactive streaming media formats.

In this video tutorial I explain how to submit assigned postings in the course's WebBoard for grading in CTER's proprietary gradebook database.

Below is a series of tutorials I created when co-instructing
EdPsy 490I: Analysis of Advanced Instructional Technologies
for UIUC's CTER Program in the summer of 2002.
